Tomorrow's Schedule
Hello everyone!
As the last official day of hacking reaches its final hours, be sure to seize your last chance to ask mentors any questions! You must have something uploaded onto your Devpost project page by 8am EST (5am PST), and the hard deadline for submissions is at 10am EST (7am PST).
As a reminder, your Teachers’ Manual must be submitted through Devpost as a Google Docs link: make sure this link is viewable by anyone with the link and that it is not restricted. Your <2min video must also be submitted to Devpost as a link as well; we recommend attaching it as a listed or unlisted Youtube link. All of these deliverables must be attached to your Devpost project page by the deadline, as you will not be able to edit your project after that! We will be making copies of all Google Doc files once you have uploaded them, so any changes made to your manual once you have submitted it will not be seen.
Tomorrow, final pitches will take place from 2-3:30pm EST (11am-12:30pm PST). The top 7 teams will be selected and announced by 12:30pm EST (9:30am EST) tomorrow; at this time the schedule for these pitches will be published on Discord as well. Remember that your Project Demonstration in front of the judging panel must be <5min, and you must present it assuming that the judges have not watched your video! Please arrive at the Zoom meeting a little bit before your allotted time to make sure the judging sessions stay on time. Your team will be let out of the waiting room once it is your turn. These pitches will be streamed LIVE on Twitch so that you may see what other teams have been up to, and you may invite your friends and family to watch!
After the 10am EST (7am PST) deadline on Devpost, public voting will also be enabled. The voting period will last 2 weeks, so get your friends and family to vote for your project! The People’s Choice Award has a value of $300, so make sure you take pride in your Devpost project page and video.
Lastly, the closing and award ceremony will begin at 4pm EST (1pm PST) tomorrow. The winners of the hackathon, as well as the raffle winners and the Most Active Team award will be announced. Best of luck!
